Experience a radiant evening of choral music with New London Singers, featuring acclaimed pianist George Ireland. This inspiring concert traces the cycle of nature, memory and renewal through choral music, and brings together the clarity of Renaissance polyphony, the colour of Romantic-era writing, and the reflective voice of contemporary composers.
Expect luminous textures, vivid word-painting and deeply felt moments as the choir navigates works by Palestrina, Lili Boulanger, Elgar, Frank Bridge, Clément Janequin, and others — culminating in Jonathan Dove’s resonant title piece.
Under the direction of Jamie Powe, this conert is ideal for listeners who love finely crafted choral sound and a programme that reflects the passing seasons in both music and mood.
